The Employee Vehicle Group Scheme (EVGS) is tailored for employers providing vehicles or allowances to their employees. Under this arrangement, rental payment obligations are transferred to employers or guaranteed by them.

VEFSOL’s Employee Vehicle Group Scheme (EVGS) is a novated lease arrangement designed to assist employees to acquire any vehicle of their choice through a lease arrangement and pay for it over an agreed period of time using deductions from their salaries/incomes and other benefits their company may provide.

Companies can also lease vehicles for their employees under this Scheme.

How Does The EVGS Work?

The EVGS is an agreement between The Employee, The Employer and VEFSOL. It enables an employee to lease any vehicle of his/her choice for up to sixty (60) months. Repayment for the lease rentals is paid for by the Employer on behalf of the employee through salary deductions and/or other benefits the employer may provide (e.g. vehicle allowance)

The obligation of payment is transferred from the employee to the employer for the term of the agreement. The employer makes the necessary deductions via payroll and pays the lease rentals directly to VEFSOL on behalf of the employee.

The employee however retains ultimate responsibility to make any payments under the lease in the event that he/she leaves their current employer or the employer fails to make payments on his/her behalf.

Eligibility – Who Qualifies For This Scheme

A permanent employee of an employer who has signed onto the scheme. The employer must sign the “EVGS Employer Agreement” for employees to be eligible.

A fixed-term contract employee of an employer who has signed onto the scheme; and where the lease term does not exceed the remaining employment contract term of the employee.

Employers Sign-off and Approval

The employer would have to sign an agreement with VEFSOL agreeing to facilitate the agreement between VEFSOL and eligible employees.

Employees will only be eligible for the EVGS when their employers sign on to the Scheme.

The employer would have to deduct the lease rental due from the employee from the employee’s payroll and pay same to VEFSOL

You choose any passenger vehicle of your choice from salons, SUVs and pickup trucks

Comprehensive Insurance

Your lease comes with a comprehensive insurance cover. We manage the insurance policy initiation process, policy renewal when it falls due and timely delivery of insurance certificates to ensure you have the appropriate insurance cover on the leased vehicle at all times.

Routine Servicing and Maintenance

We will manage the maintenance process, and inform you when your car is due for servicing. We will inspect the car to ensure the works carried out have been properly done.

Roadworthy and Licenses Management

Your leased car also comes with initial vehicle registration and annual roadworthy certification. We will arrange for the renewals to be done when they fall due.

Access to any Vehicle of your Choice:

You can lease any make and model of a passenger vehicle of your choice; new and used cars, subject to your ability to meet the lease repayment obligations and the requirements for financing used vehicles.

Single payment to Cover all Cost:

You make single monthly payments deducted from your salary and other benefits to cover your vehicle cost, maintenance, Insurance, and roadworthy renewals.

VEFSOL has partnerships with authorized car vendors. This ensures that you get discounts and competitive prices on new vehicle and cost of maintenance.
